my back garden the moon and the lamp





















i like this sort of thing kinda mysticly and spooky and cold so here what i got

I did something similar with the lunar eclipse last year. Dropped the photos into MS PhotoStory and got an animation out of it. I had no access to PhotoShop, so couldn't animate it that way. It's fun to do things like that.

As to cold, yup. It can get very cold standing in same place, taking shots.

Did you use a tripod? It allows you to stamp your feet to keep warm, without losing the angles.

i don't have one wasn't my camera i was using was my mums (XP)i was just running artound bout 11ish at night taking random photos from through the tress but still was cold.

Gloves, hat, fleece ... if you watch some of "The Sky at Night", you'll often see a thermos flask too :)

For a compact camera, a cheap tripod will do, then use the self-timer to remove human contact from the camera. Cuts down on shake. I've had some reasonable shots with my old Sony compact. Played around with the settings to get the best shot (obviously, the 'moon' setting was best).

lol well some of the best shot have a little shake if i wasn't shaking i wouldn't have gotten the lamp omen 4 (must meen some thing)......october break
